In the secretly filmed meetings, Ross allegedly discussed the cost of organizing attacks and killings, and he claims Nesbitt said he could commit murder for a fee, with the money used to arm the UVF in Northern Ireland.

Following the documentary, the UK Conservative Party suspended Ross, a former party candidate, with immediate effect pending an investigation. Ross "absolutely" denied the findings, saying nothing he told the reporter was meant seriously, while Al Jazeera said it had informed Scottish police about Nesbitt and his weapons.
