The model was used in preparation for the "Rising Lion" operation (12-day war) three months before the surprise attack in June 2025.

A similar flight reportedly took place on October 10, 2026, with planes crossing Syrian and Iraqi airspace before turning around.

The goal is to train teams, gather intelligence and accustom Iran to air traffic in order to enable a surprise attack.
