"Iran assumes that the US and Israel will launch an attack, and it sees the US's diplomatic gestures as lacking credibility."

The official said Tehran views the US economic, naval and air restrictions since March 1 as continued aggression, and believes Washington is prioritizing Israel over diplomacy.
