In an interview with Iraqi television Al Ekhbariya, Argachi warned that foreign intervention would further complicate the conflict, specifically mentioning possible Egyptian military involvement in support of Saudi Arabia.

Yemen's foreign minister, Afra al-Zuba, rejected Tehran's mediation offer, arguing that Iran cannot act as a mediator while arming and supporting the Houthis.
