๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ Times of Israel: Israeli soldiers began voting in the national elections almost a week before the general public, allowing soldiers deployed in remote areas and beyond Israel's borders to vote at the ballot box.
According to IDF data, about 850 polling stations were set up throughout Israel and in areas where Israeli forces operate, with voting continuing until October 27.
About 25% of the polling stations are mobile, which allows soldiers to vote at military posts in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, including 40 IDF posts in Gaza and nine in Syria.
The army says about 3,000 soldiers have been assigned to operate the polling stations, to ensure that both regular and reservist forces can vote while maintaining operational readiness.
