πΈπΎ Shaafek News: About 600 displaced families are preparing to leave the Newrose camp in Derik on October 21 and return to Ras al-Ain and the surrounding villages.
The movement will mark the sixth organized return convoy, after years of displacement caused by the 2019 Turkish-led military operation in northeastern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights called for returns to remain safe and voluntary, with families guaranteed access to their property, basic services and restored infrastructure.
