Following US President Donald Trump's endorsement of Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the upcoming elections in Israel, Netanyahu released footage of a phone call with Trump during a visit to the Israeli Air Force base. Netanyahu thanked Trump for his support, described him as Israel's greatest friend in the White House, and emphasized that the two leaders still have unfinished business. “Donald, we have work to finish. You said it, and we will finish it together," Netanyahu told Trump. Trump praised Netanyahu, called him a "great fighter" and expressed confidence that he would achieve a great victory in the elections. Netanyahu also emphasized the possibility of expanding the Abraham Accords to other countries and reaffirmed their joint commitment to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. As a side note, Netanyahu was previously fined for using military resources for an election campaign.
