Lebanon's President Joseph responds to the meeting with Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Baabda: "We thank Qatar for its ongoing support and hope that it will continue its efforts with Arab and international partners to pressure Israel to stop its attacks on southern Lebanon and to implement the framework agreement reached in negotiations mediated by the United States. We condemn the attacks against the Gulf states, most recently Saudi Arabia, and reaffirm Lebanon's solidarity with their leaderships and peoples. We welcome wider cooperation with Qatar, especially in energy and efforts to deal with the electricity crisis in Lebanon. The Lebanese people will not forget the support of the Qataris in our most difficult times."
