Tesla unveiled the next generation of its Roadster at the SpaceX test site in McGregor, Texas, demonstrating the car driving upside down on a ramp before using cold gas thrusters developed with SpaceX to fly, flip through the air and land upright. The vehicle accelerated from 0 to 60 km/h in 0.81 seconds during the demo, with Tesla specifying a top speed of over 230 km/h for the top-level "Rocket" configuration and targeting production for 2028.
