Bloomberg: A US refinery owned by Saudi Aramco was the buyer of part of the crude oil cargo carried by a tanker whose integrated propulsion systems were hacked by hackers during its voyage to the US. The European 2 million barrels of oil on board VL Prosperity were delivered to Motiva Enterprises LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Saudi oil giant that operates one of the largest refineries in the US. Unidentified hackers hacked the vessel's propulsion system, the FBI and US Coast Guard determined, before it arrived in Texas in August.
