Lebanese MP Fouad Mahzumi in his parliamentary question to the government about the seizure of Dahr al-Baider's explosives: We demand an investigation of the amount of explosives, their origin, destination and intended use, and to examine suspects in connection with Hezbollah, including anyone who financed, organized or ordered their transport. Referring two detainees to the justice system does not release the government from its responsibility to reveal any possible involvement, prevent interference and ensure that weapons and explosives remain under the authority of the state. We request a detailed written response and reserve the right to make a formal interpolation if the answers are unsatisfactory. No person or party is allowed to stand above the law."
