️🇷🇺NYT: Russian authorities have yet to publicly identify the pathogen responsible for the death of a researcher at the Siberian and Far Eastern Epidemic Institute a week ago

Russia's public health regulator, Rospotrabendzor, said tests on the researchers' remains were negative for the dangerous pathogens she was working with.

The World Health Organization says it is still seeking information to establish the cause of the deadly pneumonia and noted that it has not received enough information from Russia to conduct a full public health risk assessment.
