The warning came during nearly eight hours of talks in Miami between Ukraine's negotiating team and US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The meeting reportedly went off the rails after Kiev fumed over Trump's announcement of a diesel deal with Moscow.

Despite the warning, Ukrainian forces attacked the Yug Rusi oil terminal in Russia's Rostov region hours after the meeting. A senior Ukrainian official said Kyiv would continue to target Russian refineries.
