🇧🇷 AP: Brazilian police on Friday killed a man who held 13 children and staff hostage at knifepoint for more than two hours at a school in Curitiba.

The police said that he poured gasoline-smelling liquid into the classroom and repeatedly threatened to set it on fire.

All the children were rescued with no injuries reported. The city authorities will provide psychological support to children and staff.
