οΈπΊπ¦πΊπΈπ·πΊ Ukrainian President Zelensky condemned the US decision to approve diesel transactions of Russian origin, and warned that easing sanctions without a lasting de-escalation agreement would encourage Moscow to continue its war.
"Any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is a clear sign of weakness," said Zelensky, claiming that the move would allow Russia to wage a longer war and cause more losses.
Zelensky said Ukraine was ready for mutual de-escalation, and offered to end attacks on Russian refineries and other oil infrastructure if Russia stopped attacking Ukraine's energy facilities.
He urged Washington to use its leverage to secure such a deal, warning that allowing Russia to sell oil products would amount to an "investment in war."
