๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท The Navy of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that the action against vessels that violate its maritime regulations will no longer be limited to the Strait of Hormuz.

The force warned that any ship using unauthorized passage anywhere in the region would be prosecuted and face what it described as "certain punishment".

The warning followed a claim by the Revolutionary Guards that it hit the LPG carrier NV Sunshine south of Hormuz, causing a major fire in its engine room and propulsion system and leaving the vessel immobile.
