🇨🇳🇱🇦🇺🇸 CNN: China has opened a new military facility at a former airport linked to the CIA in northwest Laos.

Satellite images show a two-kilometer-long runway, room for 22 aircraft and eight aircraft, believed to be Chinese-made JL-8 trainers and light attack aircraft.

China says the jointly operated facility will train Lao air force pilots and is not directed against any third country.
