🇱🇧🇪🇺 Al-Arabiya: The first class of a European security mission is expected to arrive in Lebanon in December, according to a European diplomat.

The mission will support the Lebanese armed forces and internal security forces, in providing training, advice and assistance to strengthen the security capabilities and authority of the state.

The planned European mission will not replace UNIFIL, whose mandate expires at the end of 2026.
