🇺🇸🇻🇪 ABC: A federal grand jury in New York has indicted Nicolás Maduro and Celia Flores on five counts ranging from drug trafficking and drug terrorism to torture and weapons possession.

The indictment indicates that they acted with the assistance of at least three senior regime officials, identified only as CC-1, CC-2 and CC-3, whose identity remains sealed.

Prosecutors allege that Maduro and Flores used the Venezuelan state for more than 25 years to enrich themselves, facilitate cocaine trafficking, protect allies and crush threats to their hold on power, relying on military officers, police, intelligence agents and judges to do so.
