๐ฑ๐ง Lebanon's cabinet is scheduled to meet today, October 8, at 3:00 p.m. in the presidential palace, to discuss an extensive agenda that includes legislation, infrastructure, public administration and international cooperation.
The main proposals include installing surveillance cameras at Beirut International Airport, expanding the airport's security powers, reviewing the assets of Lebanon's two mobile operators (MIC1 and MIC2), and providing emergency financial assistance to municipalities.
The ministers will also examine renewable energy projects, digital transformation with the support of the World Bank, Lebanon's participation in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and amendments to trade and agriculture regulations, alongside appointments in the public sector.
