️🇪🇺🇺🇦🇰🇵🇷🇺 Reuters: EU envoys approved 1,646 new sanctions designations against individuals and entities linked to Russia, in the biggest expansion of the bloc's Russia sanctions list since the full-scale invasion.

More than half of the new listings target Russia's ballistic missile production chain, including entities involved in missile research, testing, solid fuel and rocket engines, drone manufacturers and submarine-supporting shipyards.

It also includes 77 Russian politicians who ran for elections in the occupied Ukrainian territories, and seven North Korean individuals and entities associated with Russia's war effort.
