️🇺🇸🇬🇷 Marco Rubio praised Greece for increasing its defense spending and strengthening military, border security and immigration cooperation with the United States.

"One thing we agree on, for example, is that the countries of Europe should take on a greater share of the burden of defending their continent, and Greece is doing exactly that. They are on track to meet the commitments made to spend 5% of their GDP on defense this year, with over 3.5 of that being... of their GDP they are also joining the National Guard's national defense. The country's partnership program, and they will ironically enough be paired with the National Guard of Florida, will bring our military cooperation even closer. Greece is also a very close strategic partner for border security and the fight against mass immigration, its great ally also in international warfare."
