๏ธ๐ต๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ Hamas issued a statement to mark the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023 attack, calling it a "historic station" and "legitimate resistance" until the occupation is defeated.
The group said the attack was a "natural response" to decades of siege and killing, and rejected the claim that the conflict began that day.
Hamas said Israel's campaign had killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded 175,000, with tens of thousands detained. He said about 1,500 had been killed and more than 5,000 wounded since the ceasefire took effect, accusing Israel of ongoing violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
