️🇨🇴🇨🇳Caracol: The official information system of Colombia's General Command for monitoring military operations, BISIGOI, recorded 442 drone attacks loaded with explosives from January 1, 2024 to October 1, 2026, killing 25 people and injuring 25 people.
The report further warns that Colombia has become the main testing ground for the use of drones by non-state actors in Latin America, with Chinese drones and related UAS systems likely to be the majority of systems used by non-state groups.
Although the report emphasizes that this does not mean that it is necessarily the fault of the Chinese government.
A major problem is that there is no bilateral mechanism between Colombia and China to share information on serial numbers, manufacturers and distributors, suspicious buyers, etc.
