There is a long history of relations between Lebanon and Iran, and we want to open a new chapter in them. In this context, we would prefer that Iran appoint a new ambassador to Lebanon, because this will facilitate the transition to a new phase in relations

The issue of Iranian flights to Beirut is different, as it is related to matters related to airport safety. Airport and passenger safety is my number one priority, and that should be understood.
