Interviewer:
"We're still seeing Iranian attacks on ships now. I mean, how can you be so sure that prices are going down?"
Wright:
"Well, because we have an increasing supply coming out of the Strait of Hormuz, and they've continued to increase over the past few months, over the past few weeks. We have gasoline production in the U.S. at a record high today.
We have demand for gasoline as we exit the summer driving season begin to decline. Similar stories with diesel. Diesel was mainly infected by the Russia-Ukraine war and also by China's decision not to export diesel or gasoline to the market."
