Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei claimed that Tehran did not enter into discussions on sanctions or the nuclear issue, and its role was only to convey its conditions to the mediators.
"Basically, we did not enter into the nuclear issue at all. Our responsibility was to convey our conditions. We conveyed these conditions in the form of a proposal known as the 'Seven-Day Plan' to the mediators, and they naturally fulfilled their role in passing it on to the American side".
