"The Americans are looking to manufacture achievements and are promoting their claims through lies," said Esmail Baghaei.

According to him, Iran's entry into and exit from the US were announced in advance, and Washington takes no pride in broadcasting its own violations of its obligations as a host country.

Baghaei said the US resorted to such "vulgar news-making" after failing to prevent Iran's participation at the UN and to impose its narrative regarding Iran's isolation.
