🇵🇭🇨🇳 The Philippine Coast Guard says a China Coast Guard ship came within about 10 meters of a Philippine response boat while trying to block an operation against suspected dynamite fishing near Pag-asa Island.

The PCG said two Chinese coast guard ships challenged the Philippine crew, while a PLA Navy helicopter hovered overhead four times.

The Philippine crew called off the pursuit of the suspected fishing boat for safety reasons.
