Daesh said its attacks in the Borno region of Nigeria included ambushes, raids and a bomb attack against Nigerian soldiers and allied militias. The group also claimed that four Christians were killed in the attacks in Adamawa.

In Cameroon, ISIS claimed that 17 members of forces supporting the Cameroonian army were killed in a raid on a village in the far north.
