๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with the Indian captain of Flydubai flight FZ1073, Captain Smith Machar, and told him: "You are a hero for Israel, India and the whole world. I invite you to light a torch on Israel's Independence Day."

During the conversation, the captain gave his report on the attack:

"The co-pilot asked to pray. He got up and stood behind me. Out of respect for him, I didn't look back, until after four or five minutes I felt a strong blow on my head. I thought something had happened to the plane, but then I was hit again and realized it was him.

"I almost lost my sight because of his beatings. I opened the door once, but he closed it, and then I fell to the floor and realized I had another chance. During this time I heard people screaming and realized that the plane was being pulled down. "When I opened the door again, I saw people waiting to jump in."
