“One, we cannot lose our lead to the Chinese. So one of the portfolios that I also have is, you know, I manage the relationship between the US and China, and I can tell you that it would have been very different if they had been a leader in artificial intelligence and not us, both from a capability standpoint, how they would use it, but more importantly, their willingness to discuss it.

So my colleague, the Deputy Prime Minister and I had a very good discussion, this will lead to further discussions in October or November, and we have a significant lead. They're in second place, and then everyone else is behind, but a lot of these Chinese models are very strong, not as strong as the American models, but you get something 90% stronger without safety rails, you know, that can be imported anywhere in the world."
