🇬🇧 The Guardian: A lobbyist for the American technology company Palantir played a senior role in Andy Burnham's election campaign to become British Prime Minister, and worked on strategic communications during the by-election that returned him to Parliament.
Martha Dalton founded Lodestone, who worked for Palantir in 2024 and 2025, including promoting its technology to British MPs. Dalton later took six weeks of unpaid leave to work on Burnham's campaign.
The revelation comes as the Burnham government faces pressure over Palantir's £330m NHS England data platform contract, which has a stop clause in February 2027. Labor says rules to manage potential conflicts have been put in place.
