🇮🇳 BBC: The "Fixed" protest movement led by Gen Z in India returns to the streets and demands electoral reforms and the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar due to allegations of manipulation of voter lists.
The Electoral Commission claims that the revision of its voter list is intended to remove duplicate and ineligible entries, while the opposition parties claim that eligible voters have also been removed. The commission and the BJP have denied allegations of manipulation.
The first demonstration is planned in Mumbai on Friday, followed by demonstrations across India during October and a large rally in Delhi.
