️🇺🇸🇸🇦🇶🇦🇮🇷Axios: The US military has sent two more Patriot missile batteries to protect oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

One was sent to Saudi Arabia to protect an oil facility, the other to Qatar to protect a natural gas facility.

The US will need access to Saudi airspace if hostilities against Iran resume, but Saudi Arabia will not grant them access if it feels its energy facilities are unprotected.
