️🇪🇷🇪🇹 Eritrea announced that it will sever all diplomatic ties with Ethiopia in response to Ethiopia closing its embassy in Asmara and expelling 10 Eritrean diplomats.

The Eritrean Foreign Ministry rejected Ethiopia's accusations of hostility, instead accusing Addis Ababa of hostile policies against Eritrea, including seeking access to the Red Sea through Eritrean territory and supporting Eritrean armed opposition groups.
