️🇱🇧 Prime Minister of Lebanon, Nawaf Salam, stated that Lebanon must not "waste any opportunities" it has in implementing the Taif Agreement.

"No - we implemented the Taif Agreement; we delayed its implementation and wasted many opportunities. We must not waste any more opportunities; we must fulfill our commitments to ourselves and our people - before anyone else. In other words, let me make this clear: all branches of the Lebanese state agree on the necessity of the state's authority over its entire territory and the limitation of this armed army."
