๏ธ๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท Time: US President Trump said the war with Iran was taking longer than his initial estimate of six to eight weeks because he "wanted to go further" and ensure Iran could not rebuild its capabilities.
Trump rejected Iran's latest cease-fire proposal, saying it was "not good enough," and said he might step up the bombing after the midterms.
He also said he would consider preemptive pardons for members of his administration if Democrats win Congress, warning that without him, Saudi Arabia and Israel "wouldn't be here now."
On Gaza, Trump said that "he will probably sit in the situation room and make an appropriate decision" regarding Hamas's refusal to disarm.
