UAE-Israel: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu outlines the timeline of the pilot attack on a FlyDubai flight this coming Wednesday.
"On a flight from Dubai to Israel, as they approached Israel, there was an attack by one pilot against the second pilot. Apparently he stabbed him or hit him with an axe. He was bleeding heavily.
The plane began to go out of control and started a dive. The pilot who was there, an Indian pilot with some kind of... he is very badly injured. He is fighting, I think, for his life right now. But in, you know, in... an act of unbelievable courage, he managed to open the cockpit door.
And an Israeli citizen, a passenger, rushed from row 16. He rushed to the cabin. But as the plane veered, he was knocked off his feet. He knocked his feet where the flight attendants are. And he managed at the moment when the plane somehow stopped, not... not really stopped, but for a moment, maybe hit an air pocket or something. He managed to enter the cockpit.
He saw the attacker, not at the instruments, the second pilot, the attacking pilot, trying to jam the instruments. He grabbed him from behind, pulled him back, got into the pilot's seat, pulled the stick back..."
