🇱🇧 Lebanon’s government will discuss a major gas-to-power project in Deir Ammar at Thursday’s Cabinet session, centered on a floating LNG storage and regasification terminal under a public-private partnership.
The project would allow Lebanon to import and store liquefied natural gas, convert it back into gas and use it for electricity generation. The wider plan includes converting the existing 465-MW Deir Ammar I plant to gas and developing a new 825-MW Deir Ammar II plant.
