Lapid said he wants to understand whether the threats are real and, if so, how Netanyahu is preparing to ensure that the elections take place without interruption.

The Prime Minister's Office responded later:

"Prime Minister Netanyahu regularly holds security briefing meetings with opposition leader Lapid, the last of which took place two weeks ago, on September 14.

The Prime Minister instructed his military secretary to brief the leader of the opposition today on the latest developments."
