️🇺🇸 ⁠Fox News: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth plans to double the Pentagon's goal to reduce the number of generals and admirals, according to an upcoming State of the Force address.

The new target will amount to a 20% reduction in the senior general and admiral ranks of the army, compared to the 10% reduction target announced last year. The changes are expected to be implemented by January 1, 2027.

The move will be part of a broader reorganization of the Pentagon and senior military leadership. Earlier reports found that more than 80 generals and admirals had already been fired, forced out or blocked from promotion during his tenure.
