Over the past few weeks, soldiers of the 55th Reserve Parachute Brigade and the elite engineering unit Yahlum have destroyed more than 600 Hezbollah sites, including eight tunnels, according to the military.

The IDF says that the forces also found dozens of rocket launchers that Hezbollah left behind before the ceasefire came into effect.

The operation is aimed at preventing Hezbollah from re-establishing itself in the security strip, the IDF says.
