️🇮🇷The Iranian Persian Gulf Straits Authority has warned ship owners that some charterers are allegedly forcing ships to use unapproved routes.

The warning states that violations of this type may expose the vessels, owners, captains and crews to financial and personal risks, and at the same time also affect the vessels' future ability to pass the Strait of Hormuz.

Authorities said companies found to be in violation of the rules could be declared non-compliant, with vessels associated with them facing restrictions on passage through the strait.
