In Kirkuk, ISIS said that an explosive device hit an Iraqi army vehicle near the village of Twayla in the Dibis area, seriously injuring an officer and three soldiers and disabling their vehicle. In western Anbar, the group detonated another bomb that seriously wounded a member of a tribal recruitment patrol in the Rawa desert.

In Salah al-Din, ISIS claimed to have bombed an Iraqi government power transmission tower along the Baiji-Hadithah road, which caused the tower to collapse and put it out of use.
