️🇨🇩🏴 ISIS claims to have killed nine Congolese soldiers and wounded at least nine others in a series of attacks across Ituri, eastern Congo.

The group said its fighters attacked several Congolese army patrols and two barracks, including an explosive ambush that reportedly killed two soldiers. ISIS claimed that the two barracks were burned and four guns were captured throughout the attacks.

ISIS also claimed that its fighters entered Christian villages during the attacks, burning more than 70 houses and several shops and seizing property belonging to the residents.
