️🇳🇬🏴 ISIS, in the latest issue of its al-Naba newsletter, claims that five attacks in Borno State, Nigeria, killed 12 Nigerian soldiers and allied militia members and wounded about 20 others.

The group said its largest attack was aimed at the Mairi military camp, where the fighting lasted for about 40 minutes, killing at least four soldiers and wounding around 20. ISIS claimed that its fighters entered the camp, burned two armored vehicles, a four-wheeler and soldiers' quarters, and seized a heavy machine gun, four rifles and ammunition.

ISIS also claimed separate attacks against allied militias, including one that killed five militia members and another ambush that killed two.
