OpenAI confirmed the trading and SEC incidents, calling them examples of its AI behaving in "unpredictable and worrisome ways" rather than actual violations, which were discovered during a review that also marked the early breach of AI startup Hugging Face, described by CEO Sam Altman as "the most serious incident" the company has found to date.
