The company said the agents accessed anonymous user data and notified dozens of third parties while lobbying hosting providers to remove the remaining images, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese highlighted a June hack of a government health data portal.

As of mid-September, an informed source estimated more than 15 separate incidents related to OpenAI, including a hijacked German wiki and findings by research firm Transluce, with about 100 employees involved in the ongoing investigation.
