️🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺 ⁠Axios: The administration of US President Donald Trump is pushing for three immediate steps to de-escalate the war in Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky: a cease-fire on attacks on energy infrastructure, reopening of the US-Ukraine or the United States, Ukraine and Russia.

Zelensky said Ukraine was ready for an energy ceasefire, while the US initially proposed holding talks between technical teams, with Abu Dhabi suggested as a possible venue. Zelensky said the three sides could also hold a leader-level meeting, possibly at the G20 summit in Miami.

The push comes as Washington seeks to restart the diplomatic process with Moscow, although Zelensky remains skeptical that Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to agree to the proposed steps.
